BQ78350-R1 and bq7693000DBT sleep problem

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ78350-R1

Hi

I'm having a problem with a battery based on the BQ78350-R1 and bq7693000DBT that is discharging a 7S battery in 2 weeks when it is disconnected from the host.  I'm not sure if sleep mode is being entered into correctly.

Measuring the current on the C10 input (highest pack voltage) shows peaks of several 100mA every few seconds.

Do you have any suggestions?  The gg file is attached.

Cheers DD-FG001.gg.csv.zipSteve

  • The gauge will wake up every 5 seconds to measure the voltage and temperature and every 20 seconds to measure current. The quiescent current will increase when taking those measurements, but it will not be 100mA. Does the pack draw 100mA when in normal mode?
