no load response

I would like to know the no load response of LM5576 and TPS54361. will these ic will work for no load condition?

these IC'S have Over current protection.if over current occurs will it restart the switcher (like hiccup mode).

In Our Application peak current is High.i can provide enough capacitors for peak current But Any How switcher is detecting the over current it should not shut the switcher.

These belong in two different forums, simple switcher and non-isolated dc-dc. I moved it to simple switcher and will answer about TPS54361:

TPS54361 can operate with no load.
TPS54361 has pulse by pulse current limit. No hiccup mode.
TPS54361 has external compensation. It can support relatively large output capacitors.

As for LM5576:
1) Yes it can operate with no load
2) It also has a cycle by cycle current limit and do not have hiccup mode.
3) It has also external compensation
