LM5021 COMP pin, driving with op amp instead of opto-coupler

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5021

Hello,

I want to use the LM5021 for its temperature range, ease of use on high voltage inputs, and sync capability for a non-isolated flyback design.  Since the design is non-isolated, I was intending to use an op amp for the error amplifier to drive the COMP pin directly (with compensation of course).  I noticed in the datasheet that the COMP pin is tied to 5V internal to the IC.  Will this cause any issues?

Thanks
