dear Sir

i am looking for a smallest circuit for LED X 1 solutoin . detail as below. inductorless topology can be accept.

input voltage: 12v form car battery

output: 3.2VLED X1 150mA

Function: no dimming, EN,Low Iq,Open LED protect,high efficiency

PCB size:25.2*6.76*1.6mm

i find the TPS61165 from website but i dont know if it is smallest soluiton.

You would need a buck driver for 12V input and 1 LED output. The smallest I am aware of would be the LM3405 or LM3405A. They are in a SOT package and switch at 1.6MHz so the externals can be small. The only difference between the two really is the maximum input voltage.

LM3407 also looks like a good possibility, and, I think, a smaller PCB layout possible, as it has only 1 external diode, 2 caps, and two resistors, operates with Vout 0.1 Vin to 0.9 Vin, so should be fine with typical white Vf of 2.8-3.2 V
