Dear TI E2E community,
We would like to have a solution for our power supply design. Design specs are, "Input from a battery with Vin= 5V-60V range, Vout= 5V and Iout=4A (and therefore Pout=20W) along with galvanic isolation and with least EMI issues".
For realising this, if we have a buck converter and derive a voltage of 5V then the duty for extreme voltage condiions becomes D=1 and D=0.0833 (which gives peak current of 100A) and therefore not considering this design.
Instead our plan is to have a buck-boost converter in the first stage to derive an intermediate voltage of 24V (to make generic design which can also be used later for other input voltage ranges) and therefore current of 0.833A. And then to have a LLC converter in the second stage for galvanic isolation, reduce EMI issues and derive 5V with Iout=4A.
Could you please suggest some suitable converters for our requirement or if you have any other design recommendation kindly share.
Regards,
Shashank
