Dear support team
Is it possible to measure phase and gain margin of TPS92515-Q1?
If possible, please teach injection circuit.

We have not really found an effective way of measuring phase and gain margin for these types of devices. This is partly due to the high side current sense and partly due to the control topology. Fortunately this control topology is inherently high bandwidth and inherently stable. It does not use an error amplifier like current/voltage mode converters, it is hysteretic so it uses a very fast comparator. The switch will simply turn on as long as it needs to until the peak current (set by the VIN/CSN resistor and the IADJ pin voltage) is reached. Then it will turn off for a set off time determined by the output voltage and the COFF pin. So it will really never be unstable, it will do what it is supposed to do. Does that help?
Thanks and best regards,
Clint
