TPS4H160B how to disable open load detection

I need to disable open load detection. Is it enough to remove 20K pull-up resistor? Or I need to add pull-down?

Details.

I want to use this IC to control DC motors. Only one channel will be switched on at a time. I need to use FAULT pin to detect overcurrent / overtemperature condition.

It is not possible to use CS pin because it will be used to detect ultra-low current of enabled channel (4 ms of ultra-low current pulse will be generated by motor in home position and this CS will be monitored continuously to detect home position).

The open load detection report works only for the off-state, if not adding the pulling-up, it will be disabled automatically since the internal pulling down.

P.S. I know that it is detected in OFF state only. But this IC has 4 channels with shared FAULT pin and if disabled channels will detect load absence, it will report over FAULT pin and I will not be able to recognize fault condition of the on-state channel. But if this load detection will be disabled without pull-up, this solves my question. Thank you!
