BQ24295 in boost mode,if the output pin"PMID"is shorted,how to recover?Is it need connect input source?

I find when PMID is shorted,after remove,PMID voltage is 0.if MCU send"OTG",PMID voltage is 1.8v,connect input source,MCU send"OTG"again,PMID output 5.0V.
