Need to generate -5V supply with 500mA in smallest possible Footprint

I need to generate -5V (Negative 5V) @ 500mA or 300mA in smallest possible footprint.

The Input can be 12V or +5V.

Pls suggest proper solution.

This is the LDO forum, but you can't make -5V from +5V with an LDO. You need a switching DC/DC.

TPS82130 with this app note can do +5V to -5V: www.ti.com/.../slva469c.pdf

Hello,
Also can you suggest a ferrite bead filter at the output of LM27761 in order to reduce ripple and get better PSRR.

I want to drive two DAC opapms(Ex: OPA695 )with this -5V supply. For this I feel 150mA will be sufficient current.
