Hi Sir,

I need a 2-channel charge pump to generate a 5.5V/20mA and a -5.5V/25mA for a LCD panel. Would you advise a suitable solution?

The -B5 version should suit your requirements.

Can TPS65132 operate at a fixed switching frequency and is it possible to adjust switching frequency?

Hello Vito,

TPS65132 negative charge pump is operating at a switching frequency of 1 MHz. The boost converter switching frequency is quasi-fixed at typically 1.8 MHz.

The switching frequency is not adjustable but especially on the positive output voltage, the voltage is cleaned by a linear regulator, so the ripple on this output is extremely small.

Could you please detail why this feature is important for you?

Hi Brigitte,

The application is car radio. The radio may be interfered by DC to DC. We want to dynamically change switching frequency to avoid the interference.

Hello Vito,

Is this to keep the switching frequency out of the audio band or is this for the radio transmission band?

I think for the audio band, 800kHz and above would be high enough not to interfere.

Hi Brigitte,

We are used to using DC to DC with adjustable fixed frequency. We can change switching frequency if we meet EMI issue.

Anyway, we will consider TPS65132.
