bqStudio error in Parameter Q&A

Hi all.

I'm trying to configure a bq27411 ic with the bqStudio software. when I try to open the parameters Q&A tab I get the following error:

Load or Store Action can't find the parameter: Configuration.Data.Design Voltage
Load or Store Action can't find the parameter: Configuration.Data.Design Voltage

this happens only when I select this particular chip. with other IC (e.g. bq27421) the tab works well.

How could I solve this problem?

Hi Andrea,

It looks like bqstudio is not recognizing your device. Do you receive an error message when opening bqstudio?

Hi Ben,

I get the message in the screeshot below when i launch the program, anyway, i can read the data from the gauge and manually set the parameters.

If you refer to the fact that you can't see the device in the dashboard, the device was not connected when I did the screenshot, but I get the same problem when the device is connected.

Hi Andrea,

There isn't a "Design Voltage" memory parameter on the bq7411. I recommend manually setting your memory parameters using the "Data Memory" tab in bqstudio.
