Hi, all.

I have a two question about bq24266.

1. When VIN is connected to power source under no battery connected, the /CHG is low status for several seconds. Is this phenomenon right?

2. Is CHG low during battery detection?

Please tell me the behavior of CHG when turning on in the state which has no batteries.

I am not overly familiar with this part, but it appears that /chg should be high impedance for both of these states. You may be seeing a deglitch time or delay that is normal.

Hello Hirotsugu,

The As David said, the charger should be in Hi-Z mode when you plug in the adapter and there is no adapter.

Do you have a waveform of VBUS, /CHG, VBAT that we can use to investigate?

Also, is this our EVM or do you have a custom board you testing on that uses our charger?

In addition to the comment I made earlier Hirotsugu,

If your TS is in a fault condition, you will see /CHG = LOW.

If you are seeing this, I would make sure you are not in a T_cold/ _hot condition.
