Can they add diode at output to protect LDO from power supply short ?

If you have any application note for output side protection from  power supply short,please send it to us.

    HI Kura,

    The TPS7A16-Q1 was designed with a very low VIN (for a 60V rated device) so that a diode could be put in series with VIN to protect reverse battery. The TPS7A16 already has current limiting and thermal shutdown to protect against a load short.
