hi all,
a customer of mine is currently using the BQ24055 and we figured out that it is NRND so will become EOL at certain point...
is there a (planned) direct replacement for the part?
thanks a lot in advance

So is the BQ24055 really going obsolete?
If so, why? when? Thankd and Best Regards,

hi Tim,
unforutnately there will be no drop replacement...
the BQ24055 has only 2 pins more than the same family products BQ24050 and BQ24052...
one of these pins is power good, the other one is not used, so ...
I understand could be annoying to re-spin the layout but will be a minor thing

Hello,
You can use bq24050. bq24055 is obsoleted.
And bq24050 just doesn’t have the PG function.
