Hi, first time poster on e2e
I am confused in regards to the maximum output current of the TPS50301, is it 3-A or 6-A? At section 8.1 of the datasheet it is stated that : "The device is a 6.3-V, 3-A, or 6-A synchronous step-down (buck) converter with two integrated N-channel MOSFETs". Also the efficiency graph at the first page of the datasheet is the same as with the TPS50601 and goes up to 6-A. Also, the title of the datasheet states "3-A/6-A Synchronous Step-Down".
I am thinking it is the same die as the TPS50601 except it's rated at 3A because of the higher temperature range, am I right to think that?
Thank you!
