tps65150 not giving correct output

designed circuit built pcb did not work, bought in eval kit, re drawn schematic so I understand it,changed a few values of resistors out matched my expectations until I changed R5

please can you explain why I get 22volt and not 15.95v on J4

Hello David,

Where did you set the jumper on connector J6? Did you set between pin 1-6 or pin 1-5 or pin 1-4?

jumper still set as default in the middle on 3and4 3x

Hello David,

And this is the problem. Under this configuration (triple charge pump) the minimum output voltage on VGH that you can get is 2xVS - 4xVD with VD as the voltage drop of the diodes. In your case this would get a VGH_MIN = 2x10.4 V - 4x0.5 V ~ 21 V.
Set the jumper on between pin 1 and 6 and this will allow a voltage range of VS - 2xVD to 2xVS - 2xVD.
