Hi we are working on Battery fuel gauging. We contacted TI for a chip that supports Lithium Primary cells and the BQ35100EVM was suggested to us.
I received the EVM today and was trying to communicate. Firstly i faced a lot of issues with the drivers. but found some unofficial drivers from the forums.
Current issue is that the the" BQ35100" is not listed in the BQStudio. I am using the EV2300 and the BQStudio auto detected the connected device as "0100_1_02" and this is not in the list of profiles available.
I selected the "0100_0_15" BQ34z100G1 which seem closest. and interestingly it shows all the registers.
All the register are SEALED and i am unable to unseal ( i tried the BQ34z100 method 0414 and 3672)
Also the Temperature readings show random -200c
So in conclusion my understanding is that the BQStudio is unable to parse the data read from the BQ35100EVM.
What can I do to communicate with the BQ35100EVM. Please help
