Is there anything that can cause BQ20Z45-R1 to not initiate communication over SMBus, even after power cycle?
We were testing over-discharge behavior of a Lithium Ion pack, After pack voltage got down to about 4.5V we attempted to recharge but the gas gauge is no longer responsive, even after bringing pack voltage back up to 8V. Our next step is to swap out the IC to see if we have damaged it.
