Hi Sir,

In our cherry trail platform, I have question about BQ24297.
May I know battery is necessary require exist ? because only adapter plug in, device can not start up but add battery device can start up.

Condition
5V adapter -> device can not start up
5V adapter with Battery -> device can start up

    Hello Kuo,

    A few questions. When you say start up, do you mean:

    1) I2C is unavailable?

    or

    2) Vsys does not start up (i.e., you do not see switching or a voltage at Vsys?


    Another question:

    3) Have you developed your own board (schematic/PCB layout) using the bq24297 or are you performing testing using our EVM?
