Hi,

PTN78060WAD occurs problem.

The problem is how to start up strange such as following.

(I can't share actual waveforms because they are confidential)

This work is problem for my customer set.

Suffix No. of the device occurring problem is PTN78060WAD 511528V.

And contracting components are different from the problem device and the correct working device.

Is the PCN regarding this issued?

Tadahiko Kuramochi :

There are no electrical function or electrical changes to the PTN78060WAD since their release.

PTN78060 has always had a soft start operation.

This non-linear start-up could be a voltage applied from another circuit to the Vout circuit prior to PTN78060W power up

Can you send me directly the complete schematic for this specific application? This includes all input and output polarized capacitors, type, capacitance value, and ESR plus all ceramic capacitors, type capacitance>2.2uF,
