Hi All,
I'm using BQ25504 Battery Management Evaluation Board, with a steady input voltage from a lat power supply of : 2V , a 500mA lithium output. The total current consumption is 90mA .
I measured 50mA using ammeter the charging current (the current that comes into the battery from the EV board).
How come the EV board consumption is 40mA ? the efficiency is very bad when i calculated 50mA/90mA =55% - and this efficiency is using steady input power (not solar panels or such).
Does anyone know why is this happening ? Do I have the option to set the charging current somehow?
