UCC39002: UCC39002 current Amp ratio

Part Number: UCC39002

Team,

If my load share full scale voltage is 8V, use R sense 0.125 mohm, and output current 100A/CH.

Per those parameters, I will design current sense Amp ratio to "640" (640k/1k).

Will this design work or not?? I am afraid that will hit the current Amp limit.

Marco

  • Hi Marco,
With a 100A load and a 0.125mOhm senses resistor, the sensed voltage is 12.5mV.
So with a gain of 640, the expected output voltage of the current amplifier needs to be 8V.
This means that you need at least 8V+2V = 10V on the VDD pin.
What voltage do you have on the VDD pin ?
