Currently using the LM25576 in an inverting configuration (6V25 to -15V @ 400mA)
We’re using comparable ceramic caps (45uF, and similar ESR) to the Tantalums, but there are stability concerns if slightly higher or lower capacitance is used. We’re seeing the ripple directly impact the feedback/stability.
Is there a minimum ripple to consider for this architecture? I know that COT requires it, but didn’t see that emulated current mode had specific requirements… something we’re missing?
In terms of the feedback circuit, what needs to be considered for the output so that the right ceramics (w/ESR can be considered).
Thanks!
