BQ20Z95: Bq20z95 - Data flash change

Dear Support Team,

I am writing you regarding the issue customer is experiencing on BQ20Z95: he wants to overwrite the registers depicted in the pic attached, is this possible or a it is needed a complete reset? It seems that after failure they become read only.

Furthermore customer is looking for a complete documentation of data register, the software here http://www.ti.com/litv/zip/sluc108b refers to BQ20z90.

    Hi Nicola,
    Once the PF has tripped, they can only be cleared by sending the Permanent Fail Clear Key. The default key is 0x1712, 0x2673. The command is only available in Unsealed, Full Access mode.
    The calibration data can be changed, once the PF is cleared, using bqEVSW.
    The latest TRM for bq20z95 is available at www.ti.com/.../sluu264a.pdf
    The Clear PF command is described in section A.1.2.13 of the above TRM.
