uA78M00 series datasheet

Why do the uA78M00 series power mangerment ICs just have a very simple datasheet, but without any "Typical Performance Characteristics" or "Application Information"? Actually, I think those data are more important for the user further design. Who can tell me where I can find them?

uA78M00 series is a new series or it will be stopped production?

    The UA78M00 data sheet is simple for a two reasons.

    The UA78M00 is a smaller copy of the UA7800 series. It has a sparse data sheet also.
    The competitors at the time of release also had simple data sheets.

    The UA78M00 series will be around for a very long time.

    Most of our newer high performance regulators come with detailed information.
