TPS55340: TPS55340 Cout series resistor

Hi,

We got a question from customer about TPS55340.
Could you help us?

- They consider solution for mosquitone of Cout ceramic capacitors. So they tried to add series resistor on Cout and they can reduce mosquitone.
  If they use these way, is there any concerns?

    I am not sure what you mean by "mosquitone". Adding series resistor has two effects. You will introduce a zero frequency like ESR zero. With a relatively large value of "R". that frequency will be low. You willneed to adjust your compensation accordingly. All the ac ripple current will flow thru that reisitor. Your output voltage ripple will increase.

    They are considering for audible noise of Cout cermic capacitor. They can reduse it by series resistor.
