OTG No Response About BQ24297

Hi Sir,


Currently my customer use BQ24297 now, application Tablet Cherry Trail platform.

OTG function is need, but have some question need you help, same error about we don't have OTG response.

May I know as below schematic is right ?

Test condition

We use Type-A U2 dongle connect plug into micro USB port by USB adapter cable, but no response, why?

Looks PMID voltage only have 3.48V, this mean voltage is not boost up 5V and Q1 FET no turn on, so VBUS no voltage, right ?

As our application, OTG power is connect to PMID or VBUS ?

    Hey Wen, 

    From looking at your schematic (only when referring to boost mode), it seems like your configuration is correct.

    A few questions and considerations when attempting to enter boost (OTG) mode. 

    1) Have you made sure you met these conditions in the datasheet:

    2) Have you made sure voltage at TS is within the BHOT and BCOLD threshold (i.e %V_REGN)? 

    3) Do you have a significant load attached to VBUS?
