UCD9222: Fusion software detect UCD9xxxxx instead of UCD9222

Part Number: UCD9222

Hi everybody,

I have a custom design c6678 board. When I want to program the UCD9222 with Fusion via USB Interface Adapter, the software find a different device "UCD9xxxxx" (exactly five 'x'). The UCD address is 78 like TI's board but software find UCD9xxxxx in the address of 104.

The hardware design is correct because when I solder an old one UCD9222 it is correct and I can program it. Also it is soldered correctly. Is there any problem with UCD9222? Maybe we got a fake one. It is not the first time that we were encountered the problem. If it is fake, how software can find an incorrect UCD. I must find nothing.

Any advice and suggestions will be greatly appreciated

Alex Martin
