Hi Team,

Customer would like to evaluate the TPS3700 for the following application.

Vin is 12V.

if Vin > 11V, it will output the voltage 12V.

if Vin < 10V, it will not output the voltage 12V.

Can TPS3700 meet this design requirement? Can customer follow datasheet page 15 figure 20 schematic design? Any change need to take case?

Hi SHH,

I am not aware of an SVS that comes with a 1V hysteresis and hits the rails you are looking for; however, we do have the following application report that shows shows a way to extend the normal hysteresis of a SVS: www.ti.com/.../slva360.pdf.

Also, are you only looking for under voltage monitoring? If so, you may want to consider TPS3711 which is similar to TPS3700 but does not have the over voltage monitoring.
