TPS563201: TPS563201 power on issue

Dear Sir,

I am verifying the power on function of TPS563201.

For the power on condition 1: vin turn on 12V first then Enable 12v. the waveform as fig 1. is fine

For condition 2: vin and Enable 12v turn on at the same time, it showed the ouput voltage waveform has peak spike to 9v.

May I know what happens for this situation? Thanks.

What is the output cap and feedback network (not shown in your schematic)? Figure 32 in the datasheet has a simultaneous VIN and EN start up with no overshoot present. It should not do that.

output cap 22uF*2pcs.
even I floating the output load , it still has voltage spike. Thanks.

Hi,

Could you please zoom in the rising area during power up(red part in picture) to see what happened there? check Is there any drop at Vin or EN? if yes, please change the input power which has much more ability or add more cap into vin pin to retry.
