Hi,

I received the following question from my customer.

Can the UCC21520 detect short High-side and Low-side? 

Or could you show me any recommended detection circuit if you have?

    Hello Tadahiko-san,

     

    Thanks very much for your understandings,

     

    UCC21520 have interlock and DT function which prevent the OUTA and OUTB from being high simultaneously. I think this function can help the shoot-through. However, UCC21520 does not have current sensing or desaturation protection which sense the current and protect. Could you please help us to understand the detailed protection request ?
