TPS560200: Description of Enable pin

Hi,

I checking for Enable pin feature, but I don't know the pin description of float to enable.
Does the mean of pin float setting and chip would work normal when system off, if Vin still have input?

Hi Eric,

Yes, you are right. if enable pin is floating and Vin is normal, the circuit keeps working, unless asserting the EN pin low.

Another question for enable pin control.
Does the pin control through "EN" input of High(over 1.16V) or Low(under 1.05V) could be normal enable or disable output, when system normal still work?

How to disable output for TPS560200? "EN" pin setting low after turn off system, can be explanation like this?

Hi Eric,

Yes, that should be for enable asserted(include a little Hysteresis), for disable, just can tied it to GND, you can use a external signal or mosfet to pull EN pin low acts as EVM's jumper.
