TPS4H160-Q1: Unnamed resistor and capacitor near current sense pin

Hi,

I've found that TPS4H160-Q1 datasheet provides no information about two components that I marked on schematic.

As far as I understand any ceramic capacitor like 0.1uF should be OK here. But what about resistor? Am I right that it's there only to limit current while charging MCU ADC pin?

Or should it be selected depending on R(CL)? Evaluation board has 4.7k resistor here.

Hi Nezhevenko,

R(unname) is for the current limit to protect MCU ADC pin, after fixed the R(unname) , you can calculate capacitor based the fiter parameter. Thanks!

May I know your application for TPS4H160-Q1?

Thanks for confirmation that unnamed resistor is just supposed to protect ADC!

As about application: currently it's mostly educational thing. Creating smart relay that will turn on/off certain load based on GPS coordinates.
