Hi everyone,
I have a custom design C6678 board with UCD9222 and UCD7242. The board is 100% (without any doubt) correct. I am using it fore more than two years and UCD can provide current of board easily (I sink 10A from UCD7242).
I bought some new UCD9222. I replace old UCD9222 with new one just for testing UCD. The board is same. Just UCD is changed. The picture of fusion software is shown below:
When I want to program UCD9222 with “TI’s USB Interface Adapter (2006)”, I encounter with this error : “No Devices Found”.
Device Scanning option is DEVICE_ID as before. Although I test all of options.
I used Device GUI to find more information. When I “Scan Device in ROM Mode” UCD30xx is found.
When I execute “Command ROM to execute its program“, No device found!!! It means no code in program flash. If I solder the old one, It would work correctly. The software version is ok. USB cable is OK. My PC works fun. Everything is ok. Just UCD9222 is the bad guy. I am far away from deadline. And so angry. I am loosing my job, money and every things.
Q:
-Why UCD9222 is not programmed??? Is it possible??? I have 30 devices and all of them have same error. Why TI??? It is not the first time. Others have same problem (search forum).
-Where can I find firmware for UCD9222? So I can program the “program flash” of the UCD9222.
-If I wand to read program flash from a correct UCD9222, It demand for password. What is password of program? so I can change program of an old one with new.
Somebody take responsibility of this problem, please.
