1. Does BQ24295 support no battery status detection? How to detect battery missing?

    Hello Daniel,

    The bq24295 doesn't include battery missing functionality. The bq25895, another single cell charger typically used in powerbank, has a feature called BAT_LOADEN which provides an internal battery load minimum of 15mA to facilitate battery detection. The host can use this load together with the internal ADC to determine battery presence.

    Regarding battery voltage measurements, the bq24295 doesn't have an internal ADC, but the bq25895 does which allows for battery voltage measurements.
