In my case, the supply current of sleep mode is a little bigger the spec.

When the Chg_FET=On % Dsg_FET = On, the current is about 120uA. In this situation, the typical value in spec is about 75uA

When the Chg_FET=Off % Dsg_FET = Off, the current is about 80uA. In this situation, the typical value in spec is about 52uA

Another ,when the IC in removealbe mode, CHG_FET can not be off during sleep mode. It seems unreasonable.

Hi J.C,

Do you have a schematic of your PCB to share? Was this measurement taken on our EVM? Can you explain how the shutdown currents were measured?

Hi JC,

You're measuring the current consumption of two ICs: U1 (R5439) and U2 (bq40z50-R1). You will need to measure the current through R19 to capture shutdown current of bq40z50-R1. Another thing you should be aware of is the accuracy of your measurement instrument as the current measurement accuracy of the power supply or the voltage accuracy of the voltmeter used to measure the voltage drop across R19.

I have removed the R3. The supply current in sleep mode is still about 120uA. Can you help to check my gg file as last post?

Another, when bq40z50 is configured in removed mode, the chg_FET can't be off during sleep mode. Can you let me know why?
