TPS63030EVM-417: The current too high without load in TPS63030EVM-417

Hi All,

I had the evaluation board TPS63030EVM-417. With Vin=4.5V, I measured the current of this board without load in the Vout circuit and the value of the current is 5 mA. For me this is too high because in the spec, quiescent current max, Iq = 50µA

Does anyone measure the current of this EVM board TPS63030EVM-417 without load?

    Quiescent current is different from the no load current.
    Basically, the quiescent current is the current flowing in the device in a non-switching state.

    5mA input current is expected at no load when the device is in forced PWM mode. What are the operating conditions for your application?
