Dear all.
Is the VOS -20mV in Equation 8 of datasheet?
(This was -75mV at the old datasheet, so I check it.)

Hello Pan,
The purpose of this equation is to design for the worst case current limit needed.
The way the term Vos is present in equation (8) the worst case scenario is when the value for Vos is -20mV. The reason for why -20mV is used in equation (8) is discussed in the paragraph above the equation where it says that the worst case, maximum value for Vos must be used for this equation.
That said if you search for Vos in the Electrical Characteristics table near the top of Page 6 the typical value at room temperature is -70mV and based on the content of this table the terminology used near equation (8) is accurate in saying that across the full characterized temperature range of the TPS40057 the max expected Vos is -20mV.
Let me know if there are any other questions.
