BQ24725A: Charger and Battery monitor with same SMBus

Hi, we are considering using the BQ24725A along with the bq40z50-R1 as a charging/monitoring solution.  We will wire the SMBus together and to host GPIO.  Is there any issue with addressing the parts separately with doing this?
