BQ34Z100-G1: Lost communication with the chip after programming Golden Learning Image

Hello everyone,

I am using custom board with a BQ34Z100-G1 on it. This chip runs well for several months but totally fails to connect after a successful image programming.

I tried following things.

Reprogram it but still no acknowledge from device
Execute FW but failed to execute Firmware - No acknowledge from device
Disconnect battery, reconnect to board and try steps above still the same result.
Directly issue I2C commands. I2C Command 0x00: Data block 0x000F I2C Command 0x64: Data block 0x000F I2C Command 0x65: Data block 0x0000

The REG25 output is stable and no ACK from I2C.

I am using the latest version of bqStudio (1.3.54) and EV2300's version is 3.1r. Any suggestion is welcomed.

Hello,

Did you close and reopen bqStudio? What's your battery voltage? Is there a pulse on TSx pins?

Sorry for late reply. I have tried reopen bqStudio, still the same.
Battery nominal voltage is 3.7V. Current it is 4.2V.
There is no pulse on TS pin. It's constant 2.5V

Try reprogramming the default SREC device might be in ROM mode. Your file you programmed may be corrupted. In ROM mode the I2C address is different (not 0xAA).
