TPS65150: A question about power on sequence of TPS65150

Hi,

If TPS65150 can achieve below power on sequence? From datasheet, we found VCOM is always on after VGH.  Please help to check and give some suggestions.

    Hello Oliver,

    As you seen in the datasheet the default power-up sequencing is VS ->VGL->VGH ->VCOM, but depending on your design you can use external components to control this sequencing. For instance I would suggest to try to use between VGL/VGH and the load a switch which is controlled depending on VCOM level such that VGL/VGH will be connected only when VCOM is already up. This way you can have the sequence VS->VCOM->VGL->VCOM. BTW, this idea is similar to the external circuit added in typical application circuit (D/S Fig.36).
    Let me know how this works out or if you need anything else.

    Thanks for your suggestion.

    We would let customer to check with the panel vender again, if the special power on sequence is required, we would advise customer to achieve it by external circuit.
