Hi Tateo,
The LM53600-Q1 is capable of outputting 3.1V. However, there are additional operational limitations at this output voltage:
1. When the Bias pin is connected to a source > 3.2V, the Bias pin powers the internal circuitry of LM53600. When the Bias pin is connected to a source < 3.2V, the input voltage powers the internal circuitry of LM53600. When the output voltage is connected to the Bias pin and powering the internal circuitry, the Iq performance is optimized, as described in the datasheet. If your customer has an additional power rail above 3.3V, this source can also be used to power the Bias pin for optimized Iq performance.
2. What is the input voltage operating range for your customer? The minimum on time of the LM53600 will be a limitation when the input voltage reaches approximately 19V to 20V. As the input voltage increases above 21V, the LM53600 implements frequency foldback, and the minimum on time will no longer be a limitation.
Best Regards,
Katelyn
