Hi Sir,

May I know our BQ24610 can support hot-plugged when battery is connected to charger? because our competitor LinearTech LTC4006 can.

And if you have best solution, please advise and comment? thanks.

    I already answered this to an email message. But to add here for others to see:

    These two circuits that I circled in our EVM user guide schematic control input hot-plug inrush current and voltage overshoot. R1, R2 and C2 network is a filter to dampen the input voltage overshoot when hot-plug. Q1, Q2, C4, R3, R21 network control inrush current when converter starts up. I believe the datasheet also explains this in section 9.3.8 second paragraph for inrush current, and section 10.2.2.5 for the input filter.
