Hi,

Could you tell me about LM2623?

My customer is looking for a device that meets the following conditions.
-Vin(min): 1.2V ※as minimally as possible
-Vin(max): 7V
-Vout:4.5V or 5V
-Iout≒ 250mA

I introduced LM2623 and TPS63070 to customer.
However,Customer wants an input voltage lower than TPS63070.
Can this device(LM2623) be used in customer's condition?
And,In the case of step down condition, please tell me what operation this device.

LM2623 is boost only. You require a buck boost for your design.

Thank you for your response.
I understand your comment.
I'm sorry I didn't make it clear enough.

Customers understand that this device can not be regulated in Vin=5V to 7V condition.
However,Customer wants to know the behavior during the step-down condition.

For example, How to operate that in following conditions?
Vin=4.2V (1cell bat max voltage)
Vout=4V

Could you give me your advice

I would have to research it. I have never personally worked with LM2623.
