BQ34110: Alkaline chemId for bq34110

Part Number: BQ34110
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQSTUDIO

Hi everyone,

I want to use the bq34110 for 2 AA Alkaline batteries in series. There is no chemId for our batteries (Energizer Max AA), but I saw in bqStudio that there is one for another alkaline battery. Is it possible to create a chemId for my type of batteries?

Also, will the CEDV Algorithm work with alkaline batteries, providing that I do the 6 tests needed by the Gauging Parameter Calculator tool?

Thanks,

Fred
