BQ28Z610EVM-532: Charging and discharging issue with BQ28Z610 and BQ24171?

Hi Team,

I am using BQ28Z610EVM-532 for 7.4V/2600mAh Li-Ion battery monitoring purpose and BQ24171 for charging purpose, we connected the battery cells  to 1N and 2P(1P and 2P shorted, because i used only 1 series combination ) of BQ28Z610EVM-532 and load/charger connected to PACK- & PACK+  and to here i am unable to charge the battery through  BQ28Z610 channel with BQ24171.

here is the block diagram of my circuit.

but I am able to charge the battery directly with BQ24171.

please guide me on this to over come this problem.
