My customer is looking for reference design & recommend part's of DC/DC Converter for Armada 38x sereis.

It seems to needs AVS or VID? function for core.

Do you have anything?

Could you please share the power requirements of your specific processor version under your specific operating conditions (code, etc.)? What is your Vin, Vouts needed, Iouts, sequencing, etc.

Thank you your reply.

DC/DC Converter supply for CPU_CORE.

After, CPU signal set to FB voltage of DC/DC converter from CPU_FB pin.

Vin：5V

Vout： default / 1.08V （after CPU connect / 1.18V）

Iout： 3A (max)

As far as I have found, the detailed specifications of both the PMICs and SoCs are behind a Marvell Extranet. I haven’t had much success gleaming the power requirements for the Armada series. Also note, that for the future we are trying to find the right Marvell contacts so we can offer solutions where they have gaps.

For a simple 5Vin to ~1.1Vout converter which supports AVS, there is the TPS82085 or TPS62085. I2C is common as well for this type of application--TPS62360 family has this.
