Hi,
I received the question from my customer.
They hope what the over-current operation is current limiting or power limiting, not fold back.
Can the LM25037 operate such as above when overcurrent?
Best Regards,
Kuramochi

Hi Kuramochi-san,
The overload operation of LM25037 is current limiting.
LM25037 has Versatile Dual Mode Overcurrent Protection With Hiccup Delay Timer.
The overload timer function is very versatile and can be configured for the following modes of protection:
1. Cycle-by-cycle only
2. Hiccup only
3. Delayed Hiccup
4. Externally Controlled Hiccup
See more detail in LM25037 datasheet, it’s located at chapter 7.3.6. The datasheet can be found on TI website.
