Can the 100 ohm balance resistors be 0402 (63mW rated) in a 4 cell application?
If the cell 1 resistor is 100 ohms and the internal resistance is 100 ohms, I calculate the Pdiss in the external resistor to be 4.2^2/(100 + 100) = 88mW total or 44 mW in the external resistor.
