LM5165: Output current to low

Dear folks,

I'm having troubles with my design.
I've attached my circuit. My problem is that output current seems to be limited to 45mA.
I have tried connecting the ILIM pin to GND, also been trying different values for the resistor on the RT pin.

I'd like to get close to the maximum current of around 100mA

Could the inductor I've chosen be the reason?
The inductor I'm using is SRR4028-560

Hi Timur,

This device has two modes, PFM and COT. Given that you have elected to use 56uF inductor, I would suggest to force the device to the PFM mode by shorting the Rt pin to ground and as well as the iLim pin. 100mA is the limit for the PFM mode. If you need more output current, the device needs to be set to COT mode. Also, you may want to double up output capacitance to see a reduced ripple noise.

Cheers, I've been playing around with the modes and the Ilim resistor already. However, I'm glad you haven't found any problems in the design.
I'll trie your suggestions in the next few days again.
